“I’ve learned… that the best classroom is at the feet of an elderly person.” - Andy Rooney

In today’s world, more people are living longer and leading more active lives.  To live a hundred years or more is no longer uncommon.  Along with this reality, there is a burgeoning need to find sustainable ways to care for our elders.  Too often, seniors find themselves in the scenario of going from one doctor’s appointment to the next and taking handfuls of prescription drugs in a precarious attempt to manage their health.  And without sufficient resources, many  fall through the cracks of a healthcare system weighed down by corporate greed and a lack of vision for preventative care.

We need to re-learn ways of self-care; to become more tuned to what we can do for ourselves and for each other to feel better and to live better.

For a better quality of life.
