ALTERNATE NOSTRIL BREATHING

How is your stress level during this holiday season?  Find Peace of Mind by taking deep breaths.  Try counting your breaths.  Maybe you can make it up to 10 counts on the inhalations and 20 (double) counts on the exhalations.  

 

Then try other forms of Breathing Exercises (Pranayama).

 

Here’s a tutorial on Alternate Nostril Breathing (Anuloma Viloma).  It will not only calm the mind but it will also balance the left and the right hemispheres of the brain.

 

Hatha Yoga Pradipika says that “When the breath wonders, i.e.irregular, the mind is also unsteady.  But when the breath is still, so is the mind”.
