DON'T UNDERESTIMATE GENTLER YOGA PRACTICES

Don’t underestimate gentler yoga practices.  

Deep breathing is a yoga practice.  Sitting completely still is a yoga practice.  Relaxation on our back is a yoga practice.

This coming Sunday I am teaching “Restorative Yoga”.  Tons of props are used: several blankets / yoga mats, yoga blocks, bolsters, even chairs.  

Essential oils.  

My voice.

With this type of yoga, our body’s innate relaxation response is activated.  Emerging feeling centered, at ease, calmer, peaceful.
