A yoga student this morning mentioned that she has been working with “Families Helping Families”, whose purpose is to help homeless families in Dupage County, Illinois.  They provide apartments and supportive services to homeless families while they are working to reclaim their lives.

She had many inspiring stories.  But the one that touched her heart that week was a woman who gave up her spot so that some other family, who need it more, could get into the program.  

Giving is a vicious cycle.  When we give whole-heartedly to someone in need, they, in turn, feel the need to give just the same.
