Get your Power back!   Based on the M.A.T. (Muscle Activation Technique) principles.   “I don’t care what you can do.  I care what you CAN’T do” - Greg Roskof, M.A.T. founder  Designed to activate Weak (or even sleeping muscles) using Yoga postures to: Find where you are weak and help to achieve muscular balance to minimize joint stress.     Strength has an enormous effect on Range of Motion.  Thus, this practice combines the use of Yoga poses, biomechanics, and muscle activation, based on Greg Roskopf’s Muscle Activation Techniques™ MAT is a specific and unique process that is used to improve an individual’s ability to develop efficient muscle contraction(s) as indicated by the measurement and comparison of AROM (active range of motion) symmetry issues on each side of the body.  The MAT process can address hundreds of muscles and joints in order to uncover the muscular issues that could be contributing to the loss of physical performance and associated subjective complaints.  MAT evaluates the body as a mechanical system and the interrelationship of the joints, prioritizing weakness instead of tightness, as loss of range of motion is viewed as a strength issue.    The body has amazing healing capacities if we just align ourselves with appropriate, well-progressed, individualized stresses to stimulate positive change.
